ENG 494 - Disability as Literature Instructor

In this course, we will explore disability as it is depicted in literary and cultural texts, from the canon to disability culture. Course work will include a service project creating an accessible tour with the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art and a class trip to Washington, D.C. to view disability artifacts at the Smithsonian.
Students entering 2012: Satisfies Literary Studies, Creative Writing, and Rhetoric distribution requirements.
Prerequisites & Notes Juniors and seniors only.
