FRE 362 - Maghreb: Francophone Authors

Francophone authors of the Maghreb: Literature and civilization of French-speaking North Africa. Focus on French colonial themes. Texts by major writers from Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia (Djebar, Sebbar, Memmi, Chraibi, Dib).
Students entering 2012 and after: satisfies Literary Studies, Creative Writing, and Rhetoric distribution requirements.
Students entering before 2012: satisfies Literature distribution requirement.

Prerequisites & Notes
Any course numbered French 220 or above. (Not offered 2013-14.)
