DIG 101 - Introduction to Digital Studies

This interdisciplinary course offers a critical approach to contemporary digital culture.  Topics will include the history of digital media, the rise of network society, and the influence of digital technology upon narrative, arts, and science.  The course will require extensive work with computers, but no prior knowledge is necessary. 

 Students entering 2012 or after: the Liberal Studies distribution requirement.
