POL 350 - Politics of North Africa

Introduces major themes in the political development in North Africa, with particular emphasis on explaining variation in political development across states of the contemporary Maghreb. Examines cultural, historical, economic, and political questions extending back to the early nineteenth century.

Students entering before 2012: satisfies the cultural diversity and Social Science distribution requirements.
Counts toward the International Studies interdisciplinary minor.
