POL 247 - Narrative and Conflict in the Middle East and North Africa (formerly POL 237)

This class focuses on the role of representation in conflicts in the Middle East and North Africa. The course examines how various actors present these conflicts in novels, short stories, graphic novels, film, still images, music, and various types of journalism.

Students entering 2012 and after: satisfies Social-Scientific Thought distribution requirement.

Counts toward the International Studies and Asian Studies Interdisciplinary Minors.
