THE 221 - Creating Devised Theatre and Performance

This course is an experiential and critical study of contemporary devised theater. Students will develop and create an original theatre work in an ensemble setting through a series of exercises, documentary research, basic film techniques, acting and creative writing. The class will culminate in a performance.

Students entering 2012 and after: satisfies the performing arts distribution requirement.
