SOC 271 - Urban Ethnography INSTRUCTOR:

This course introduces students to a sociological perspective of everyday social settings by applying methods of systematic, qualitative observation. Students are asked to take the role of the sociologist and will be trained to collect, organize, and interpret emperical data to pursue a greater understanding of significant fundemental social behaviors.
