ART 242 - Performance Art in the Black Atlantic

This course will explore the various performance traditions of the Black Atlantic that developed from the nineteenth to the twenty-first centuries. It will examine how the notion of Diaspora unifies the different traditions of performance across space and time.
Satisfies a major requirement in Art. Satisfies concentration in Ethnic Studies and International Studies.
