CLA 254 - Narratives of the Ancient World

Offered in conjunction with the Classics Semester Abroad, this course considers representations of the Greco-Roman world in various genres (with an emphasis on the historical and quasi historical). While the majority of the readings will be of ancient texts in translation, we will also read texts representing the reception of the ancient world.

Satisfies a major requirement in Classics.
Students entering 2012 and after: satisfies Historical Thought distribution requirement.
