PSY 101 - General Psychology

Survey of the current psychology of learning, perception, motivation, intelligence, thinking, and social and abnormal behaviors, with emphasis on the application of scientific methods to psychological investigation and on the biological bases of behavior and experience. Students may be required to participate in experiments or in alternative research experiences. 

Satisfies the Social-Scientific Thought requirement.

Prerequisites & Notes
(Fall and Spring)

Fall 2020-
Section A: All lectures will be conducted online and synchronously, with recordings available for those who cannot attend.  Over the course of the semester, there will be 4 “flex” activities offered face-to-face for all who can attend, with an option to interact remotely.  The “flex” activities will be done in small groups, across the week.
