ENG 311 - The Documentary Video Experience

The Documentary Video Experience will focus on students choosing how best to express themselves through cinema. However, in documentary work, we never just tell someone else’s story, we partner with them to help them tell their story. This is the beauty and importance of this art form.

Intermediate to advanced filmmaking students will each research, pre-produce, film and edit a 10-12 minute non-fiction story within the Davidson community.

Together, the films produced in the course will form an intimate, nuanced portrait of our community.

The course will conclude with a red-carpet screening.
