ENG 205 - Introduction to Screenwriting

This course is a workshop largely based on the writing that you and others in your class accomplish. Our explorations in writing for the screen will include learning official screenplay formatting and studying how traditional story structures and notable screenplays work. The class will take you through an entire creative process, including a series of storytelling exercises, character dialogues, detailed treatments, and dramatic scenes that steadily build over the semester toward the completion and revision of a short screenplay.

Satisfies the Visual and Performing Arts requirement.
