ART 104 - Asian Art After 1000

This course is one of the two survey courses on Asian art. In this course, we will explore the arts of Asia with China, Japan, Korea, and India as main focal points. Survey of Asian Art II covers the temporal scope from 1000 to the present. The class follows an approximate chronological order with a weekly theme that addresses art history questions such as transculturality, gender, and modernity.
