POL 293 - Politics of the Americas

This course examines the history, politics, economics, and society of Latin America. We will examine the history and current state of the region, focusing on shared themes such as authoritarianism, democratization, regionalism, and economic development. Case studies of specific countries and individuals will augment our broad overview of the politics of the region.
