In this course, students will improve their oral and written communication in Spanish, as well as deepen their knowledge of and approach to the Spanish-speaking world. A variety of readings and digital media (e.g., films, shorts, videos, plays, graphic narrative, and artistic productions) will be the starting point for conversations and as well as written and oral assignments, which will include both informal and academic registers.
Conducted in Spanish. Requires a conversation session with an Apprentice Teacher once a week. This course should be taken before 271 and/or 272, and is strongly recommended for students planning to study abroad.
Counts towards the major and minor in Hispanic Studies.
Prerequisites & Notes Spanish 201 or its equivalent.
