This course evaluates a variety of psychological interventions from individual therapies to family interventions to community-based programs. Interventions will be evaluated from a scientific and public health perspective. It also will include a practical component where you will apply aspects of psychological interventions. In addition, we will focus on diversity, inclusion, inequities, intersectionality, and ethical considerations in depth related to psychological interventions. Case examples will be used to enrich your understanding of interventions. This course counts toward the Psychology major and the Public Health minor.
