This course explores the questions: What does it mean to be a human being? What does it mean to be a good one? Typical sources of study and discussion include the Book of Genesis, Darwin’s The Descent of Man, Reinhold Niebuhr’s The Nature and Destiny of Man, novels and films.

Prerequisites & Notes
Not open to juniors or seniors until the Drop/Add period.

Satisfies the core requirement in Religion, provides major credit in Religion.
