CHE 306 - Biophysical Chemistry

Physical chemistry and its application to the life sciences. Topics include necessary mathematical background, thermodynamics applied to intermediary metabolism, enzyme kinetics, equilibria, antigen–antibody interactions, chemistry of respiration, and physical properties of proteins.

Prerequisites & Notes
Prerequisite: Chemistry 215 (or 121). Does not count toward a major in chemistry. No laboratory. (Offered as needed; not offered 2005-06.)
