CHE 105 - Chemistry and Society

Introduction to the science of chemistry and its relation to modern society. The laboratory provides experience in the scientific approach to problems with an emphasis on the evaluation and interpretation of experimental data. Designed for students who do not plan to take additional courses in chemistry.
Students entering 2012 and later: satisfies the Natural Science distribution requirement.
Students entering before 2012: satisfies the laboratory course in the Natural Science distribution requirement.
Prerequisites & Notes
May not be taken for credit after Chemistry 106, 110, or 115 has been taken for credit. One laboratory meeting per week. (Not offered 2014-15.)
