CHE 260 - Introduction to Physical Chemistry Instructors

The course will address the American Chemical Society’s mandate for a curriculum that establishes foundational studies in the five main areas of chemistry: inorganic, organic, physical, biochemistry, and analytical. This particular course addresses the specific topics of thermodynamics and kinetics with an increased emphasis on biochemical systems. These foundational courses are also required to have labs.
Satisfies a major requirement in Chemistry.
Satisfies a minor requirement in Chemistry.
Students entering 2012 and after: satisfies Natural Science distribution requirement.
Students entering before 2012: satisfies science with a lab distribution requirement.
Prerequisites & Notes Chemistry 115; Math 111 or 112. One laboratory meeting per week. (Fall)
