CHE 391 - Experimental Physical Chemistry

Instructors
Blauch, Striplin

Experimental methods in thermodynamics, spectroscopy, kinetics, and electrochemistry with emphasis on the principles and components of spectroscopic and electrochemical instrumentation. Application of experimental techniques in calorimetry, conductivity, voltammetry, and NMR, IR, UV-Vis, and fluorescence spectroscopy to the study of phase and reaction equilibrium, kinetics, and atomic and molecular structure.

Prerequisites & Notes
Chemistry 351; Math 113 or 140. One laboratory meeting per week. (Spring)
