MUS 110 - Exploring Music

A general introduction to music, covering the vocabulary and methods essential to the scholarly study of music. Music to be studied will come from a wide span of history and include a broad range of styles. Students planning to major in music should complete this course by the end of the sophomore year.

Students entering 2012 and after: satisfies the Visual and Performing Arts distribution requirement.
Students entering before 2012: satisfies the Fine Arts distribution requirement.
