THE 383 - Contemporary Theatre and Performance: Trends in Theatre Studies This course introduces students to current artists, working methodologies, and scholarship within the field of theatre and performance. The course focuses on ways broader cultural dialogues about identity-sexuality, race, gender, class, ability-and technological innovation influence what appears on-stage, and the ways that audiences and critics think and write about these performances. Course includes field trips to see live performances.
