HIS 259 - American Scientific Controversies, 1813-2013 Instructor

This class introduces students to American science of the nineteenth, twentieth, and twenty-first centuries. Topics include debates about evolution, science education, natural history, eugenics, the atomic bomb, human sexuality, environmentalism, and the biopolitics of race.
