SPA 408 - Ekphrasis and Other Dialogues Among the Arts

The course will examine the concept, theory, and practice of ekphrasis. Students will study a theoretical text and works which exemplify this rich phenomenon. Other types and forms of dialogue among the arts will also be explored. A substantial final research project will be required. Conducted in Spanish.

Prerequisites & Notes
Any two literature or culture courses. Limited to juniors and seniors. Priority will be given to majors, then minors. (Fall)
