CHE 377 - Toxicology

Introduction to toxicology including the history of toxicology, mechanisms of toxicity, toxic agents and risk assessment. A specific emphasis will be placed on absorption, distribution and excretion of toxicants, followed by non-organ directed toxicity and target organ toxicity.

Satisfies a major requirement in Chemistry.
Satisfies a minor requirement in Chemistry.

Chemistry 220 and 250 required. Chemistry 240 and 350 recommended.
