MHU 234 - Genes. Environment and Health Instructor

This course introduces students to the role of epigenetic changes - mechanisms that regulate gene expression by altering chromatin structure and function in the absence of change in DNA sequence - in mediating the long-term effects of early life environment and variations in social experience across the life span in human health and susceptibility to adult-onset chronic, non-communicable diseases.
