ENG 290 - World Literature

A survey of selected major works outside of the British and American literary traditions, including literature from Asia, Europe, Latin America, the Carribean, and South Africa. The literature is often tied to major political periods such as Totalitarianism in Central Europe, the Cultural Revolution in China, and Apartheid in South Africa. 

Satisfies the LTRQ Ways of Knowing requirement.
Satisfies the cultural diversity requirement.
Satisfies a major (diversity) and minor requirement in English.
