FRE 313 - French for the Professions

FRE313 will help develop their professional writing skills and their knowledge of the Francophone professional world. Written assignments will include technical translations, summaries of meetings and work documents, note-taking, creating a CV and a cover letter, designing a marketing campaign, email etiquette, etc. Each prompt will provide an opportunity to reflect on topics such as intercultural communication, marketing, sustainability, diplomacy, and economic development, through the lens of global French language and Francophone cultures.
