THE 345 - Acting II

This course strengthens the students’ experiential knowledge of the vocal, physical, and intellectual demands of the acting process. Students will be challenged to embrace a variety of theatrical styles such as heightened contemporary drama, broad comedy, absurdist drama, and language-based plays . Shakespeare. Through class exercises and in-depth scene study each student will be asked to make brave acting choices as they unearth the connections between the acting text and their identity.  An introduction to acting for the camera is also included in the course.
